About The Opportunity For a Payroll Manager
- Join a collaborative team supporting a complex, high-volume payroll environment
- Great opportunity for a payroll professional who enjoys process ownership, reconciliations, and partnering with HR and accounting
- Established procedures, user guides, and team support are in place for a smooth transition
- Process multiple payrolls each month, with some weeks requiring more than one payroll cycle
- Manage payroll processing for hourly and salaried employees
- Review timecards, validate payroll calculations, and partner with HR on pay adjustments
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts including cash, accrued liabilities, and benefits accounts
- Pull reports from Oracle into Excel for reconciliation and reporting
- Coordinate retirement, HSA/FSA, and payroll tax file submissions
- Use off-cycle weeks to complete reconciliations and clean-up activities
- Strong payroll processing experience required
- Solid payroll reconciliation experience
- Foundational knowledge of withholdings, liabilities, and payroll banking tie-outs
- Oracle experience is a strong plus
- Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
- Ability to work cross-functionally with HR and accounting teams
