This role offers the flexibility to work around firm payroll deadlines while maintaining a remote work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience handling full-cycle, multi-state payroll for both exempt and non-exempt employees using Paycor. Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and excellent communication are key to success in this role.

Key Part-Time Payroll Specialist Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle payroll processing for a multi-state workforce, including exempt and non-exempt employees
• Ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with federal, state, and local laws
• Coordinate and communicate with HR and other departments to ensure accurate employee data and payroll entries
• Handle payroll tax reporting, deductions, and garnishments as required
• Assist with payroll-related inquiries from employees and management, resolving issues promptly
• Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive employee data
• Work independently to meet firm deadlines while managing flexible work hours
  
  

Part-Time Payroll Specialist Qualifications

• Proven experience in multi-state, full-cycle payroll processing
• Experience using Paycor or similar payroll software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality
