Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Cloud).
- Ensure high availability and reliability of network systems across corporate and field environments.
- Configure and manage network hardware: switches, routers, firewalls, modems, VPNs, DHCP servers, etc.
- Proactively monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and uptime.
- Manage telecommunications vendors and monitor service delivery.
- Control network and telecom-related costs and budgeting.
- Provide on-call support for critical operations.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, including diagrams, IP address inventories, and change control logs.
- Adhere to organizational IT policies, standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience in enterprise or industrial network engineering roles.
- Hands-on experience with network equipment (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, ACLs, and secure remote access.
- Experience supporting remote field infrastructure, including technologies like VSAT, LTE, or long-range wireless.
- Ability to work in both structured office environments and outdoor/field settings.
