Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities
- Employee Relations & Engagement - Coordinate meetings, plan employee events, support internal communications, and serve as a friendly, reliable resource for day‑to‑day employee questions.
- Benefits Administration - Assist employees with benefit enrollment, manage annual open enrollment, process benefit changes, track rate increases, and ensure accurate deductions.
- Workers’ Compensation Management - Handle claims, documentation, and communication with employees and carriers to ensure timely and compliant case resolution.
- HRIS & Data Administration - Maintain employee data, perform accurate data entry, and serve as the go‑to expert for navigating the HRIS system.
- Policies & Procedures - Help employees understand policies, ensure consistent application, and support HR leadership with documentation and compliance needs.
- Back up to other HR functions
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3 years in human resources
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Tech‑savvy with the ability to learn systems quickly; Paychex experience is a plus
- Ability to build relationships, stay organized, and handle confidential information with professionalism
