This is a highly visible role supporting the HR Operations Manager and broader HR team.
Primary Focus Areas
- Pre-employment processes & onboarding (approximately 140 new hires/month plus upcoming acquisition of 17 new locations)
- I-9 administration and compliance
- HRIS administration (Paycom – fully digital environment)
- Pulling reports and assisting with system updates
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets for data imports and reporting
- Supporting wellness initiatives
- Assisting the HR Director and broader HR team with special projects
Ideal Background
- Experience with an HRIS (Paycom would be a plus)
- Pre-employment, onboarding, and I-9 experience
- Process-oriented and detail-driven
- Comfortable juggling competing priorities
- Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and basic formulas
- Strong written communication skills
- Confident picking up the phone and communicating with all levels of the organization
- Easy-going and positive
- Open to feedback
- Team-oriented
- Professional but approachable
- Open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds and career stages
