Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Grants & Allocation Specialist to join our client’s team. This role plays a critical part in managing grant budgets and ensuring accurate payroll allocations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain grant budget templates and narratives for submissions.
• Monitor grant timelines and ensure compliance with financial requirements.
• Prepare accurate budget narratives aligned with program activities.
• Collaborate with program and operations teams to gather and validate financial data.
• Revise budgets and narratives based on funder feedback or program changes.
• Ensure accurate assignment of departments, accounts, and labor distribution for new hires.
• Review and approve Personnel Action Forms (PAFs) for employee changes.
• Work with Program Directors to confirm salary allocations and make adjustments as needed.
• Prepare salary and allocation reports for budget and operations meetings.
• Coordinate with Accounting and HR teams to update allocations for payroll-related changes.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong organizational and communication skills.
