Salary: Up to $100K base

Position Overview

We are seeking a Financial Reporting Accountant to join an established corporate accounting and financial reporting team. This role will support the preparation of internal and external financial reporting, quarterly financial statements, and equity-related accounting.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on financial reporting experience within industry. Public accounting experience is highly valued, but candidates should have experience beyond a purely audit-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare internal and external financial reporting packages


• Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements and reporting


• Support equity accounting and transactions, including stock options and stock repurchases


• Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial statement documentation


• Partner with accounting leadership throughout the quarter-end and year-end close/reporting process


• Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and compliant with applicable accounting standards


• Assist with audit requests and supporting documentation


• Adapt to changing priorities and take ownership of reporting responsibilities within a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 
  5 years of accounting experience preferred


• Strong financial reporting experience within industry


• Experience with equity transactions/accounting strongly preferred


• Prior public accounting experience, particularly with a national or Big 4 firm, is a plus


• CPA preferred, but not required


• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation


• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills


• Flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
