Key Responsibilities Of The Finance Business Analyst
- Analyze and manipulate large financial datasets using SQL, Power BI, and other tools to support ERP integrations and reporting
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops with Finance, Operations, and acquisition partner teams
- Develop understanding of current state processes and perform process gap analysis to support detailed data integration
- Map and harmonize data between partner legacy systems to new platforms
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Translate finance and business requirements into clear process documentation and analytical outputs
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and analysis to ensure accuracy during system integrations
- Contribute to the development of a scalable finance integration playbook for future M&A activity
- Support change management efforts related to new systems, processes, and reporting standards
- Collaborate with external consultant, IT, and finance to ensure timely and accurate integration deliverables
- Up to 25% travel, including overnight stays, to support integration and partner firm needs
- Degree Accounting, Finance, or Similar
- Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and reconciling financial data
- Experience with Power BI (or similar analytics tools)
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting processes
- Experience supporting ERP implementations or system integrations
- Ability to communicate effectively with Finance, Accounting, and business stakeholders
- Experience working in fast paced, M&A driven environments preferred
Salary : $125,000 - $135,000
