Position Overview
This is a hands-on accounting and finance leadership role responsible for overseeing all financial operations for the U.S. business, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cost accounting, cash management, and operational finance support.
The role will lead a small accounting team and work closely with operations leadership to improve financial visibility, drive process improvements, and support continued business growth.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys operating both strategically and tactically within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Base salary: $150,000 – $170,000
Bonus opportunity: 10%–15%
Work Environment
Onsite role based in the northwest metro area of Minneapolis.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all accounting and finance activities for the U.S. business
- Oversee monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Manage cost accounting, inventory analysis, and operational finance support
- Partner with leadership on financial planning, KPI development, and business decision-making
- Drive improvements in cash management, working capital, and financial processes
- Support ongoing operational and systems improvements
- Lead and mentor a small accounting team
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and leadership teams
- Support future growth initiatives, including expansion of international operations
- 7 years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Prior experience leading accounting/finance within a manufacturing environment
- Strong cost accounting and operational finance background
- Hands-on leadership style with willingness to operate in the details
- Experience partnering with operational leadership teams
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution
- Manufacturing or industrial industry experience strongly preferred
- SAP experience is highly desirable
- CPA or public accounting foundation is a plus
- Experience within inventory-heavy environments
- Lean manufacturing exposure is beneficial
