Korn Ferry is excited to partner on a Director of Finance & Accounting opportunity with a well-established, growing organization in the Minneapolis area.
This is a highly visible, strategic role reporting directly to the CEO with leadership of the Accounting and Finance team. You’ll partner across operations and leadership as a true business partner to elevate financial insight and drive better decision-making across the business. Leadership is focused on identifying a strong leader that can develop their team and build strong relationships across departments.

Must be local to the area! Our client strongly believes in flexibility and offering a hybrid work environment, however, that will depend week to week depending on needs of the role and traveling. They want the Director of Finance & Accounting to be physically present and integrate onsite with leadership teams.

- Target Base of $150K to $200K Base (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial leadership and oversight of a strong finance & accounting team
- Partner cross-functionally with business unit leaders to improve financial understanding and accountability
- Help operational leaders understand performance metrics and decision impacts
- Ownership for forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning/modeling efforts that directly influence strategy
- Deliver insights to the Board and Executive leadership while enhancing reporting, systems and data capabilities
- Support organizational maturity and change management initiatives
- Evaluate cost/benefit scenarios and strategic investments from a finance perspective
- Assist with ongoing systems modernization and reporting enhancements
- Collaborate closely with Executive leadership on strategic growth initiative
- Identify and implement process improvements
Ideal Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- 10 years of progressive finance & accounting experience with 2 years of management experience
- Strong FP&A and strategic finance background with experience leading budgeting and forecasting processes
- Leader with proven history of developing their team
- Prior experience with a recurring payment structure, pricing, compensation structures - Highly Preferred
- Strong leadership presence, ability to influence cross-functionally, and partner with non-finance leaders
- Experience navigating organizational change and growth environments
