Salary: $190,000 20% Bonus

We are representing a leading public company seeking an experienced Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting. This is a high-impact role offering visibility across the organization and the opportunity to work on complex reporting and technical accounting matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee SEC reporting, including preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Utilize Workiva or Active Disclosure software for reporting processes.
• Provide technical accounting expertise, including drafting memos and disclosures.
• Manage one-off transactions and ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations.
• Review close areas and provide indirect oversight (no direct reports).
  
  

Top Requirements

• Public company SEC reporting experience (required).
• Hands-on experience with Workiva or Active Disclosure software (must-have).
• Strong knowledge of technical accounting and ability to draft memos/disclosures.
• Minimum 8 years of experience (some flexibility).
• Experience with 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings.
• Industry flexibility: candidates from outside pharma are welcome (blended experience OK).
