Financial Leadership & Reporting
- Lead and manage the monthly close process with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and deliver financial statements in accordance with GAAP and industry standards
- Maintain and analyze Work in Progress (WIP) schedules, including percent-complete and margin projections
- Partner with external financial advisors on year-end close and financial reviews
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial systems and reporting tools
- Collaborate closely with project and operations teams to monitor financial performance
- Provide insight into job costing, variances, and profitability
- Support billing processes, including progress billing and contract compliance
- Help drive consistency in cost coding and financial tracking across projects
- Contribute to bid support and financial components of project planning
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and project-level financial needs
- Develop and maintain short-term cash flow forecasts
- Support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and visibility
- Provide leadership with actionable financial insights to support decision-making
- Lead and develop a small accounting team across AP/AR and payroll functions
- Establish clear processes, accountability, and structure within the department
- Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment
- Act as a key contributor to cross-functional leadership discussions
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, prevailing wage requirements, and industry standards
- Support audits, bonding requirements, and insurance processes
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial safeguards
- 5–10 years of accounting/finance experience, with construction industry experience required
- Strong expertise in:
- WIP & percentage-of-completion accounting
- Job costing and cost coding
- Prevailing wage compliance
- Experience with construction accounting systems (e.g., Sage or similar)
- Proven ability to partner effectively with operations and project teams
- Hands-on, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
- High visibility and direct impact on business performance

Salary : $110,000 - $160,000
