The Controller partners closely with plant managers, supply chain, and executive leadership to support profitable growth and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. Responsibilities include:Ensure GAAP-compliant financial statements and consolidated reportingStandardize accounting processes across states and facilitiesLead month‑end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across all plantsMaintain and strengthen internal controls and audit readinessOversee standard costing, cost roll‑ups, and cost updates across all plantsAnalyze multi‑site production variances (labor, material, overhead)Manage inventory valuation for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods across locationsLead cycle counts and physical inventory at each facilityPartner with plant leadership to improve cost visibility and reduce wasteEnsure compliance with state‑specific tax, payroll, and regulatory requirementsSupport capital expenditure planning and ROI analysis for multiple facilitiesCollaborate with supply chain, production, and engineering to optimize operationsEvaluate and improve financial systems, reporting tools, and ERP/MRP utilizationProvide financial insights to support strategic decisions, expansions, and acquisitionsBuild a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvementCoordinate training and ensure consistent financial practices company‑wideAbout You:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; MBA or CPA preferred.7–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturingExpert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions) with data analysis capabilitiesProficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft AccessStrong background and knowledge of Epicor ERP/MRP systemExperience supporting multi‑site or multi‑state operationsExperience in a mid-size manufacturing company ($50M-$100M )Strong knowledge of GAAP, job cost accounting, and inventory managementStrong understanding of revenue recognition using percentage-of-completion in equipment manufacturingStrong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach and excellent communication abilities across all levels of the organizationAbility to work Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pmIf you are interested in joining a stable, growth-oriented, and innovative organization where you can make a difference, we want to hear from you!
