Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong financial controls
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team
- Manage month-end close, financial reporting, and general ledger integrity
- Oversee cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for banking relationships, lenders, and financial partners
- Partner with ownership on debt financing, negotiations, and capital planning
- Coordinate with external CPA firm on tax matters and annual audits
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial discipline
- Provide financial insights and operational analysis to support business decisions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience leading full-cycle accounting in a hands-on environment
- Strong background in cash management and banking relationships
- Comfortable interfacing with ownership, lenders, attorneys, and insurance providers
- Experience working with external CPA firms on tax and audit processes
- Industry experience in manufacturing, fabrication, heavy equipment, or dealership environments is a strong plus.
