About The Opportunity - Bookkeeper

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Brentwood area to identify a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting day-to-day accounting functions, and assisting with reporting activities. The ideal candidate enjoys working with numbers, has strong organizational skills, and can manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key Responsibilities - Bookkeeper

• Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger transactions
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other balance sheet accounts
• Prepare and record journal entries as needed
• Manage invoicing, payment tracking, and collections efforts
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
• Generate financial reports and provide supporting documentation for management
• Maintain organized accounting files and ensure data accuracy
  
  

Qualifications - Bookkeeper

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred
• Proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial recordkeeping
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion
• Experience supporting small to mid-sized business accounting operations is a plus
