- A privately held organization in York County, Pennsylvania is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to support day‑to‑day accounting operations. This full‑time role offers the opportunity to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate financial records, efficient processes, and timely reporting within a stable business environment.
- Maintain accurate general ledger records across one or more entities
- Process accounts payable, including invoice entry and payment coordination
- Perform regular bank and credit card reconciliations
- Assist with month‑end close activities and basic financial reporting
- Track cash activity and support internal reporting needs
- Prepare and organize financial information for external accountants and tax preparation
- Maintain and update the chart of accounts and supporting documentation
- Support budget tracking and basic variance reporting as needed
- Provide bookkeeping support for project‑based or job‑costing activities
- Assist with documenting accounting procedures and maintaining organized records
- 3 years of hands‑on bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks required
- Proficiency with Excel and basic financial reporting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm
- Salary: $50,000–$60,000
