Assistant Controller Key Responsibilities
- Lead core accounting functions: journal entries, reconciliations, close activities, and financial reporting support.
- Develop, enhance, and document SOPs to improve efficiency across the accounting function.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to maintain accurate financial data.
- Support audits and prepare required schedules and documentation.
- Assist with special projects involving systems, reporting, and operational enhancements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience (Assistant Controller or strong Senior Accountant level).
- Strong GL and reconciliation skills
- Proven experience improving accounting processes and building SOPs.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Hybrid schedule, 3 days in-office and 2 days remote
