Key Responsibilities Of The AP Manager Role
- Lead and manage the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and support.
- The AP Manager will oversee the accurate processing of vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment runs.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor AP aging, accruals, and month-end close tasks to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain organized documentation for audits, internal controls, and compliance.
- The AP Manager will collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to improve AP processes and workflows.
- Implement best practices for AP operations, including process improvements and automation initiatives.
- Support year-end filings, including 1099 preparation, and provide information for audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of accounts payable experience, including supervisory or management experience.
- Strong proficiency with SAP (or other ERP systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and drive continuous improvement.
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
