Our client is a well-established construction and general contracting company with a strong reputation in the Pittsburgh area. They are a small but growing team looking for someone who wants to make an impact and grow with the organization. This position offers the opportunity to take on broader accounting responsibilities and potentially grow into a Staff Accountant role.

Responsibilities- Accounting Specialist

• The Accounting Specialist will handle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and payment processing
• Prepare and manage AIA billing for construction projects
• Assist with job costing, project accounting, and customer billing
• The Accounting Specialist will perform account reconciliations and support month-end close
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist with general accounting duties
• The Accounting Specialist will provide additional accounting support as the company continues to grow
  
  

Preferred Qualifications- Accounting Specialist

• Previous construction accounting experience preferred
• AIA billing experience preferred
• 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a construction environment
• Experience with Sage 300 required or strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Interest in growing into a Staff Accountant position
