Our client is a successful, family-owned organization seeking an Accounting Manager to join their growing team. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO and offers an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Accounting Supervisor looking to step into management. With approximately 130 employees, the company has a strong culture of promoting from within and investing in employee growth.

Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team members
• Manage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting
• Prepare year-end schedules and support the external audit process
• Serve as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial matters
• Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
• Assist with hiring and developing accounting staff
  
  

Qualifications Of The Accounting Manager

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations
• Distribution or manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Process improvement mindset with strong communication skills
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
