- Oversee general bookkeeping and monthly/quarterly/annual close processes
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for accuracy and completeness
- Review financial and job‑cost data, resolving discrepancies and identifying trends
- Support risk management activities related to insurance and bonding
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration while guiding and developing team members
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience; construction or public accounting experience is a plus
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and auditing processes
- Familiarity with corporate taxes (income, sales/use, payroll)
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
