Responsibilities
- Coordinate monthly closing with offshore accounting team; review and post accrual entries in compliance with IFRS principles.
- Assist in preparation of consolidated management reporting package.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger balances.
- Maintain proper financial records.
- Record and track management fees and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing required documentation and detailed information.
- Develop and maintain internal financial reporting processes, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical accounting guidance as needed.
- Proactively improve workflows, processes, policies, account analyses, and distribution of relevant information.
- Assist with implementation of new systems and processes.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests and inquiries; assist with special projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in trading companies or investment banks.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS principles and standards.
- Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, SAGE).
- Experience with financial statement preparation.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Accuracy and a results-driven attitude.
Salary : $100,000 - $150,000
