Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and reconciliations
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation and reporting
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and performance metrics
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting professionals, fostering growth and accountability
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes and ensure timely completion
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary audit documentation
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial procedures
- Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes, reporting tools, and system efficiency
- Stay current with accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA preferred)
- 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
- Experience with financial systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of tax and regulatory compliance
Salary : $105,000 - $125,000
