The Opportunity
As the Interim Accounting Manager / Controller, you'll oversee the daily accounting function, provide leadership to a team of accounting professionals, and partner with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting and project performance. What You'll Do
- Oversee project accounting, WIP reporting, and percentage-of-completion accounting
- Lead billing, collections, accounts payable, cash flow management, and daily accounting operations
- Supervise and mentor a team of up to five employees while fostering a positive, solutions-oriented culture
- Prepare account reconciliations, financial reports, and support month-end close activities
- Utilize Sage Intacct and quickly adapt to new accounting systems and automation tools, including Stampli and VersaPay
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience with prior leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong project accounting experience; construction accounting experience is highly preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with ERP systems such as Sage Intacct
