Account Manager Responsibilities
- As an Account Manager you will manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.
- Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to senior management.
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring adherence to deadlines.
- Coordinate and support the annual external audit process.
- Monitor and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
- Mentor and lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation is preferred.
- Proven work experience as an Accounting Manager or in a similar financial management role.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to drive business decisions.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
