- Analyze and improve accounting systems, procedures, and controls.
- Provide guidance on complex accounting issues including GAAP, tax regulations, and compliance.
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and forecasting.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to in-house accounting staff.
- Implement new accounting tools or software as needed.
- Prepare and review financial statements and ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CMA certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience (5 years) in accounting or financial consulting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
