JOB SUMMARY

The Program Manager oversees daily healthcare operations in correctional facilities, ensuring high-quality, compliance, and cost-effective care. Serving as the key liaison between medical staff and correctional leadership, this role manages performance, monitors contract compliance, and ensures programs meet operational and regulatory standards.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide strategic leadership to achieve the company’s mission of delivering high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective healthcare services in correctional settings.
  • Lead and develop a team that ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence across all contracted sites.
  • Oversee fiscal operations, including budgeting, financial planning, contract negotiation, and performance management, to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with correctional agencies, state and local governments, and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive innovation in care delivery models tailored to the correctional environment, including telehealth, chronic care, and behavioral health programs.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare laws, correctional standards, and accreditation requirements (e.g., NCCHC, ACA, HIPAA).
  • Represent the company to partners, media, and the public, serving as the chief spokesperson and brand ambassador.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, ethics, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, master’s preferred in healthcare administration, Business, Public Health, or related field (MBA, MHA, MPH preferred)
  • 10 years of senior executive leadership experience, ideally in healthcare services, correctional healthcare, or government contracting
  • Proven track record in scaling operations, managing complex budgets, and delivering high-quality care in regulated environments
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, correctional health standards, and public-sector contracting
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working with correctional agencies or government entities strongly preferred

 

Qualifications:

FUNCTIONAL DEMANDS

 

  • Ability to pass all required health and other screening tests
  • May be required to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • On-call duty may be required (available to work on short notice)

  • Completes required orientation as directed by the facility
  • Follows facility and OSHA safety rules and procedures while on assignment
  • Follows facility and CFG Health Systems Occurrence Protocol
  • Upholds HIPAA and PREA regulations
  • Punctual and dependable for assigned/confirmed shifts
  • Maintains security clearance for the assigned facility

Salary : $145,000
