The Role
The Electrical Inspector is responsible for, providing inspection services for multiple NYCDEP sewer/water main emergency projects in various boroughs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide inspection services for multiple NYCDEP sewer/water main emergency projects in various boroughs.
- Ensure full-time monitoring of all construction activities to guarantee compliance with project specifications
- Conduct continuous technical inspections to confirm that quality measures are implemented daily

Prepare daily field technical reports and computations; collect and document initial, progress,
and final photographs - Conduct substantial and final inspections alongside the supervisor and designated personnel
- Verify contractor adherence to contract requirements, quality control standards, and safety protocols
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
- B.S. in Engineering
- Five years of experience in electrical Inspection
- Knowledge in industry Standards and Specifications for different agencies (NYCDEP, NYCDDC, NYCDOT etc)
Technical Skills:
- Microsoft Office 365
Preferred Certifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering
- OSHA-10
Soft Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Perform additional project controls related duties as required.
