Job Description
Certified Apartment Staffing is seeking a dependable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician for an apartment community in Tallahassee, FL.
We are looking for someone with hands-on multifamily maintenance experience who can assist with daily work orders, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance, and general property upkeep. HVAC experience and EPA certification are a plus!
Responsibilities
- Complete resident work orders and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Perform apartment make-readies, including drywall repairs, painting, plumbing, and general repairs.
- Troubleshoot and perform basic HVAC repairs and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain common areas, grounds, and property amenities.
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, appliance, and carpentry repairs.
- Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and property maintenance standards.
Qualifications
- Previous apartment or multifamily maintenance experience preferred.
- General knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs.
- Ability to complete work orders and apartment make-readies independently.
- EPA certification preferred but not required.
- CPO certification is a plus.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift, bend, climb, and perform physical maintenance duties.
