Apartment Maintenance Technician – 55 Community

We are currently hiring an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for a 55 community in Port Arthur, TX. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking candidate who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-maintained property for residents.

HVAC experience is preferred, and candidates must be comfortable handling a variety of maintenance responsibilities throughout the community.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily work orders and ticket running in a timely manner
• Perform general apartment maintenance and repairs
• Minor electrical and light plumbing repairs
• Make-ready duties including drywall repair, painting, touch-ups, and unit turns
• Assist with groundskeeping and maintaining curb appeal
• Pool upkeep and general maintenance
• Handle trash-out duties and maintain cleanliness of common areas
• Work closely with management and residents to ensure excellent service

Qualifications:

• Previous apartment maintenance experience required
• HVAC certification or experience preferred
• Knowledge of ticket running/work order systems
• Experience with drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
• Comfortable with groundskeeping and outdoor work
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong work ethic and team-player attitude
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
