Position Overview:
GEO Lab technician involves analyzing geological samples in a controlled laboratory environment.
Duties:
- Perform variety of test on soils using ASTM and TxDot methods
- Ensure all tests are perform accurately and in a timely manner
- Record test results neatly
- Maintain lab equipment (cleaning, calibrating, organizing)
- Communicate with lab manager regarding samples and testing
- Work well in a team environment
- Follow safety protocols
- Be able to lift materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail
Education/Qualifications:
College grad (not required)
High School Grad / GED equivalent
