If you understand electronic components at a technical level and enjoy influencing supplier strategy, cost structure, and component selection, this role sits right at that intersection.

We’re looking for a technically strong Category Manager – Electronics to support sourcing and supplier management across:

• PCBAs (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies)
• Semiconductors
• Passive components (resistors, capacitors, inductors)
• Electromechanical components

This is not a transactional buyer role. You’ll partner directly with Engineering and Operations to influence component strategy, supplier selection, and cost optimization across a complex electronics portfolio.

What You’ll Do

• Execute sourcing strategies for electronics categories
• Analyze supplier quotations and cost breakdowns
• Support pricing and commercial negotiations
• Partner with Engineering on component selection and lifecycle management
• Monitor supplier performance (delivery, quality, responsiveness)
• Support NPI supplier qualification
• Identify cost reduction opportunities
• Mitigate supply risk and continuity issues

What You Need

• BS in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (Must Have)
• 3–7 years in electronics procurement, supplier engineering, electronics manufacturing, or category management
• Working knowledge of PCB assemblies and electronic components
• Experience analyzing cost structures and supplier quotations
• Strong cross-functional communication skills
