Machine Adjuster or Trainee Machine Adjuster

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes. We are hiring immediately for experienced Machine Adjusters and Trainee Machine Adjusters in our Kent, WA manufacturing plant. Experienced Machine Adjuster * $24.06/hr or higher depending on experience shift premium on 2nd & 3rd shifts * 2 positions are opened on 1st shift 6am -- 2pm (for experienced candidates) * Additional positions are opened on 2nd & 3rd shifts * 5 years of experience as an Envelope Machine Adjuster is required Trainee Machine Adjuster * $21/hr or higher depending on relevant experience shift premium on 2nd & 3rd shifts * Positions are available on 2nd & 3rd shifts for this position * 4 years of Intermediate to Advanced hands on mechanical skills required to set up, diagnose/repair production equipment as well as complete changeovers, size changes, etc. Important Notes: * Training typically takes place on 1st shift for 2nd & 3rd shift positions * 1st shift 6:30am -- 2:30pm; 2nd shift 2:30pm -- 10:30pm; 3rd shift 10:30pm -- 6:30am * 2nd shift premium $0.75/hr / 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr * The schedule is Mon-Fri with Saturdays required during busy season/based on business needs * Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills. * Flexibility required with machine assignment. * **The Trainee position is a developmental role that requires the individual to be successfully progressing to a Machine Adjuster position by successfully completing the training The individual's performance will be evaluated to determine progress in and suitability for the role. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: * Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping. * Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance. * Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.). * Must be able to work in hot or cold weather. * Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift. * Mental alertness to stop equipment when jam occurs.
