Envelope Machine Adjuster

Information about the Company: Cenveo is a leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually. We are hiring immediately for experienced Envelope Machine Adjusters in our Kent, WA manufacturing plant on 2nd & 3rd shifts.

Envelope Machine Adjuster Pay/Schedule:

• Starting at $24.06/hr or higher depending on experience
• 2nd shift premium $.75/hr and 3rd shift premium $1.50/hr
• 1st shift 6:30am - 2:30pm / 2nd shift 2:30pm – 10:30pm/ 3rd shift 10:30pm – 6:30am
• Flexibility to train on any shift.
• Schedule: Mon - Fri / Sat required during busy season/based on business needs.

Envelope Machine Adjuster Responsibilities & Daily Duties:

• Sets up and adjusts various types of converting equipment for safe and efficient operation.
• Machine set up, troubleshooting, changeovers, size-changes, preventive maintenance
• Assists with training and provides coverage/overtime as needed
• Examines product to ensure quality process is followed; Minimizes waste.
• Compliance with safety rules and regulations
• Other duties and assignments as required.

Envelope Machine Adjuster Requirements/Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• A minimum of 5 years direct envelope experience.
• Advanced mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic math skills and the ability to accurately read a ruler; basic computer skills.
• Flexibility required with machine assignment.

Envelope Machine Adjuster Physical Requirements & Work Environment:-

• Regular standing, walking, carrying, climbing, reaching, bending, stooping.
• Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 55 pounds with assistance.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, hazardous materials (inks, solvents, glue, etc.).
• Must be able to work in hot or cold weather; Mental alertness to stop equipment.
• .Ability to handle high-speed delivery output in a standing position for a full shift.
