Century West Engineering, a premier Northwest engineering consulting firm, is looking for a Proposal Manager to join our growing team. As a Proposal Manager, you will lead the identification, development, delivery, and follow-up of high-quality marketing proposals. You will manage marketing coordinators whose primary job function is proposal development, and support project managers with business development efforts both in and out of the office. The chosen candidate will work either in our Lake Oswego or Bend, OR offices and will report to the Marketing Manager.

- Identify and track leads through reviewing Capital Improvement Programs, monitoring lead tracking subscriptions, and otherwise supporting project managers with finding and maintaining target clients
- Assign proposal development responsibilities to the appropriate marketing resources
- Manage proposal responses to RFPs, including facilitating kick-off meetings, managing proposal deadlines, writing and coordinating content, coordinating and receiving content from subconsultants, and complying with our quality management processes
- Proofread, edit, and provide quality reviews of proposals prepared by other marketing and professional staff
- Ensure content is comprehensive, competitive, client-specific, and brand-compliant
- Develop graphics that are visually compelling and tell a story
- Manage project interview preparation and develop interview collateral
- Track business development activities in CRM
- Attend conferences, meetings, and networking events as a representative of the company
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, English, Journalism, or related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience in A/E/C marketing, proposal management, or business development.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint CRM and WordPress preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage marketers and technical staff through the proposal process
- Demonstrated ability to formulate and manage special marketing and business development projects
- Demonstrated ability to professionally represent the company at professional events
- An eye for current trends in graphic design
- Technical writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to use computer hardware (keyboards) and software (word processing, spreadsheets, basic programming, and graphics software
Salary : $85,000 - $150,000
