- Design and update benefit policies procedures and plan documents and communicate changes clearly to employees and leadership.
- Evaluate proposals analyze cost trends and make data driven recommendations that align benefits with organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with federal state and local regulations through accurate reporting filings and audits.
- Mentor and manage the benefits team while overseeing reconciliations inquiries and issue resolution.
- Bring extensive experience managing comprehensive benefits programs with both strategic and operational responsibility.
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to benefits leave and disability programs.
- Communicate effectively across departments and levels while presenting complex information clearly.
- Use Microsoft Office tools confidently including advanced Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining accuracy organization and efficiency.
- Analyze regulatory updates and advise leadership on required or recommended program changes.
- Develop census and statistical data for actuaries carriers and internal stakeholders.
- Resolve benefit related inquiries and complaints promptly while ensuring compliance and consistency.
