- Lead month end and quarter end close activities by assigning tasks reviewing entries reconciliations and ensuring timely accurate reporting.
- Manage audit readiness by coordinating documentation supporting internal control testing and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies procedures and risk management practices while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to improve efficiency accuracy and system performance.
- Partner with leadership and cross functional teams to analyze results provide insights and support strategic decisions.
- A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or business administration.
- 8 years of progressive accounting experience including time in both public accounting and industry.
- Demonstrate strong technical knowledge of accounting standards internal controls and reporting frameworks.
- Use Excel and enterprise systems confidently with advanced spreadsheet and reporting capabilities.
- Possess prior experience supervising and leading accounting professionals in a growth focused environment.
- Mentor and develop senior and staff accountants through coaching performance feedback and skill development.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams external partners and management to track progress and resolve issues.
- Manage complex organizational structures while driving alignment and accountability across departments.
- Apply strong analytical problem solving and organizational skills to large volumes of financial data.
- Show initiative sound judgment and the ability to work independently while supporting continuous improvement efforts.
