- Manage the preparation and review of quarterly and annual financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee regulatory filings, including SEC reports such as 10-K and 10-Q, and maintain adherence to all reporting requirements.
- Research and implement new accounting standards while ensuring compliance with GAAP principles.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and supporting audit processes.
- Maintain and monitor internal control systems to comply with SOX regulations and strengthen financial reporting integrity.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and technical accounting standards.
- Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and SOX compliance frameworks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using investment accounting platforms such as Yardi or similar systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external service providers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field; CPA designation required.
- A minimum of 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including both public and private practice.
- Background in real estate, private equity, or private credit accounting.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting teams while managing complex financial processes.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills for handling high-level financial reporting.
