Summary Job Description
This position is responsible for stocking, pulling, stacking, transporting parts as needed for assigned areas
Essential Duties
- Operate the conveyor belt between Cushion Fill and Upholstery Dept
- Organize and maintain furniture coming in the Upholstery Department
- Help stag work to the Inside Upholstery Departments
- May break down or tear down repairs
- Must be able to move specific product to work areas in a timely manner
- May be required to work in multiple departments or assigned areas
- Ability to learn to identify and measure different types of furniture
- Rotate stock- FIFO (first in first out), as appropriate
- Must be self-motivated with little supervision
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous material handling experience a plus

- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, using proper lifting techniques
- Must have good eye sight and able to wear to protective safety glasses
- Must be able to push furniture across the concrete floor
- Must be able to walk and stand for 9-hour shift, on concrete floors
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, twist, stoop, and carry supplies
- Must be able to work independently, yet able to communicate and get along with others
