Summary Job Description
Position is responsible for inspecting whitewood products to ensure quality is being met.
Essential Duties
- Using knowledgeable of different wood and veneer characteristics to determine repair action and quality
- Refits drawers and doors as needed
- Assembles a piece of wood or veneer to product as needed
- Observes all scratches, dents, dips; repairing case to original product quality
- Uses different wood related hand tools
- Keeps work area clean and is quality conscious in performing duties
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 1 year of woodwork repair experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of various hand sanders a plus
