A well-established general contractor delivering ground-up projects across Central Florida, specializing in hospitality, multifamily, and mixed-use developments. Committed to quality, safety, and on-time delivery, we’re seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations across high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Coordination
- Lead all on-site construction activities and field personnel.
- Maintain the project schedule; coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and inspections.
- Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Run daily and weekly subcontractor meetings; issue look-ahead schedules.
- Partner closely with the Project Manager on sequencing, procurement needs, manpower loading, and issue resolution.
Quality Control
- Enforce company and project quality standards from ground-up through finishes.
- Validate work against plans, specs, and local building codes.
- Identify and resolve deficiencies promptly; document corrective actions.
Safety Management
- Uphold and enforce OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and weekly toolbox talks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free site.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain daily reports, RFI logs, photos, as-built updates, and other field documentation.
- Track deliveries, inspections, manpower counts, and production rates.
- Support close-out procedures including punch lists, commissioning, and turnover.
Qualifications
- 5–10 years of superintendent or assistant superintendent experience with a general contractor.
- Ground-up hospitality (hotels/resorts) and/or multifamily (garden-style, podium, wrap) project experience required.
- Strong knowledge of Central Florida codes, permitting, and inspection processes.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specs, and schedules.
- Proficient with Procore or similar construction management software.
- OSHA 30 required.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
