Shift: 12-hr Nights | 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires an RN who can provide high-quality care for critically ill patients, perform frequent assessments, and manage treatments autonomously. You will collaborate with a supportive team to ensure excellent patient care and positive outcomes in a fast-paced, acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Utilize clinical judgment to manage patient care safely and effectively.
• Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations.
• Educate patients and their families on medications, procedures, and treatments, providing support throughout their stay.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent ICU RN experience in acute care required.
• Licensure: Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license. Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation.
• Education: Registered Nurse Diploma or Associate Degree; BSN preferred.
• Certifications:
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of employment start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor within 30 days of start.
• ACLS Provider (American Heart Association) within 6 months of start date.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) or PALS Instructor within 6 months of start date.
