Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract role in a fast-paced hospital setting in Concord, MA. Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in a high-acuity Emergency Department.
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to provide timely and accurate care.
- Monitor and assess changes in patient condition, reporting critical information promptly.
- Document all care provided accurately in the EMR system (Cerner preferred but not required).
- Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and hospital policies.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families during emergency situations.
- Licensure: Active NH or Compact State RN license (Required)
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) – Required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience – Required
- Documented travel nursing experience.
- EMR Experience:
- Cerner experience preferred but not mandatory.
- Will accept local candidates.
- Local pay rates will apply to candidates residing within 50 miles.
