Physical Therapist Pediatric Outpatient
Location: Juneau, AlaskaPay Rate: $80/hr
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week; shifts vary across Monday Friday, 7:00 AM 6:00 PM and Saturday, 8:00 AM 1:00 PM
Total Working Hours per week: 40
Experience: Minimum 1 year of outpatient rehab experience; pediatric PT experience required
About the Role
We are hiring a Physical Therapist for a pediatric outpatient opportunity in Juneau, Alaska. This role involves providing physical therapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, delivering therapy services, supporting patient and family education, and collaborating with the care team to improve functional outcomes.
Responsibilities
Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments for patients with varying diagnoses and functional needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
Modify care plans based on patient response and progress.
Provide patient and family education, including home exercise programs.
Collaborate with providers, care teams, and DME vendors to support patient care needs.
Document therapy encounters, treatment plans, recommendations, and outcomes accurately.
Direct support staff, students, or interns as assigned.
Maintain clinical space, supplies, and equipment readiness.
Requirements
Active Alaska Physical Therapist license required at time of submission.
Pediatric PT experience required.
Minimum 1 year of adult outpatient rehab experience required.
Master's or doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program required, or qualifying APTA-approved PT program with required experience.
BLS/BCLS certification required.
Valid driver's license required.
Flu vaccination required.
Must live at least 50 miles away from the facility address.
Start date must be no less than 6 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing.
