Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 36 Hours Per Week | Every Other Weekend & Holiday
Work Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
PAY BREAKDOWN
Weekly Gross: $ 1,800 To $2,000/Week
Blended Hourly Rate: $56/Hour
Weekly Taxable Pay: $1,000
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & CERTIFICATIONS
Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing Required
Minimum 1 Year of Nursing Experience Required
Previous Telemetry Experience Required
ACLS Required Upon Hire; Candidates With Active BLS Must Obtain American Heart Association ACLS Within 60 Days of Hire
Strong Cardiac Rhythm and EKG Interpretation Skills Required
Experience With Mechanical Ventilation, Intubated Patient Care, ABG Interpretation, and Airway Management
Experience With Hemodynamic Monitoring, Arterial Lines, Central Venous Access, and Critical-Care Equipment
Experience Administering and Titrating Vasoactive Medications and Critical Drips
Ability to Assess, Plan, Implement, Document, and Evaluate Care for Critically Ill Patients
Additional Requirements
Night Shift Assignment: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Rotation
Hours Are Not Guaranteed
Experience With Anticoagulation and Thrombolytic Therapy Protocols
Ability to Care for Intubated and Mechanically Ventilated Patients, Including Suctioning, Troubleshooting, and Weaning
Experience With Immediate Postoperative Critical-Care Monitoring
Must Participate in Multidisciplinary Care Planning and Patient/Family Education
Strong Medication Administration, IV Therapy, Patient-Safety, and Clinical Documentation Skills Required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
ICU Experience Preferred
Minimum 1 Year of Medical-Surgical Experience Preferred
CCRN Certification Preferred
