Schedule: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Special Care Nursery (SCN/NICU) for a 13-week contract opportunity in Concord, New Hampshire. The RN will provide specialized neonatal nursing care within an integrated Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to neonates in the Special Care Nursery, including assessment, monitoring, treatment, and ongoing evaluation.
Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide appropriate neonatal stabilization and nursing support.
Care for premature and medically complex newborns, including infants requiring growth, feeding, and specialized neonatal support.
Perform neonatal clinical skills including IV initiation and assist with treatments such as surfactant administration via LMA when appropriate.
Collaborate with Labor & Delivery, postpartum, pediatric, and interdisciplinary teams while floating to postpartum or pediatrics when needed and clinically appropriate.
Requirements
Minimum 3–4 Years of Nursing Experience Required, Including at Least 2 Years of NICU or Level II Special Care Nursery Experience.
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications Required.
Previous Travel Nursing Experience Required.
Previous NICU or Level II SCN Experience Required; Postpartum Experience Preferred but Not Required.
Cerner Experience Preferred; Ability to Work Night Shifts, Participate in Required Call, and Float to Postpartum or Pediatrics as Appropriate.
The Special Care Nursery RN will provide skilled, compassionate, and family-centered neonatal care while supporting safe outcomes for newborns and their families.
