Histotechnologist

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Pay Rate: $1,300 To $1,520 /Week

Contract: 4 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Experience: Minimum 5 Years of Hospital-Based Histology Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Histotechnologist for a 4-week contract assignment in Cleveland, Ohio. This position focuses on tissue cutting, embedding, and surgical pathology specimen preparation in a high-volume hospital histology laboratory while maintaining quality standards and accurate documentation.

• Perform tissue embedding and microtomy for surgical pathology specimens.

• Prepare and process histology specimens following laboratory protocols.

• Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and specimen records.

• Follow quality assurance, safety, and laboratory compliance standards.

• Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to support efficient workflow.

• Active HT (ASCP) certification required prior to the start date.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a high-volume hospital-based histology laboratory.

• Experience with tissue cutting, embedding, and surgical pathology specimens required.

• Experience with EPIC Beaker preferred.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and laboratory documentation skills.
