Maintenance Shift Supervisor

As a Maintenance Shift Supervisor, you’re the go-to leader on shift—guiding a team of talented technicians, tackling complex equipment issues, and making sure everything from centrifuges to facility systems operates safely and reliably. You don’t just manage the work—you set the pace, raise the bar, and keep the mission moving.

What You Will Do:

You’ll lead and coordinate all shift maintenance activities—assigning and scheduling work, guiding technicians, and ensuring equipment is installed, maintained, and repaired in line with approved procedures. You’ll oversee troubleshooting and system performance, monitor work quality and compliance, manage materials, parts, and work orders, and reinforce safety, security, environmental, and quality standards. You’ll also review technical drawings and procedures, support your team hands-on when needed, and ensure every job is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

We’d love to hear from People With:

• Associate of science in engineering, physical sciences, or equivalent technical experience with a high school diploma or GED; or successful completion of the US naval nuclear propulsion program
• 3 years of plant maintenance experience within the 8 years in chemical, nuclear, power generation, pharmaceutical industries, or the US naval nuclear propulsion program
• The ability to obtain and maintain a “Q” clearance.

This position will require a pre-employment background check and a pre-employment drug test.

In addition, once employed, employees will become part of a random drug testing program and may also be tested in the event of any incident causing injury or causing damage to property, or if it is determined that there is a reasonable suspicion the employee is under the influence of drugs or alcohol. This position will require preemployment background check on the part of the Company and in order to receive a Q security clearance, a background investigation by the Federal government. Subsequent Federal government reinvestigations may be required.
