Accounting & Inventory Clerk

Centre Concrete is hiring an Accounting Clerk to work in its Corporate Offices in Bellefonte, PA. This unique role manages critical purchasing, inventory, and administrative workflows that apply across the parent company and affiliated entities.

The primary focus of this position is the end-to-end inventory purchasing process, including the careful execution of frequent intercompany transactions and multi-entity asset movements. Additionally, the ideal candidate will assist with monthly inventory reconciliations, multi-state fleet vehicle administration (including IFTA and Form 2290 filings), and delivery ticket entry and invoicing.

Core Responsibilities:

Inventory Purchasing & Inventory Control

• Create and manage purchase orders within the ERP.
• Record inventory receipts and warehouse deliveries.
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate inventory costs and FIFO inventory records.
• Process intercompany inventory transfers and asset allocations.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, shortages, and pricing issues.

Reconciliations & Invoicing

• Assist with monthly inventory reconciliations and month-end closing activities.
• Enter sales orders and convert delivery tickets into customer invoices.

Fleet Administration & Compliance

• Track and coordinate vehicle registration renewals.
• Prepare and file IFTA reports and Form 2290 tax filings.

Administrative Support

• Provide administrative and accounting support across multiple company entities as needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong data entry, organizational, and recordkeeping skills.
• Ability to manage transactions across multiple companies with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
• Experience in bookkeeping, procurement, inventory control, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Acumatica or other ERP systems is a plus but not required.

Compensation & Benefits Package:

• Bonuses: Eligibility for discretionary profit sharing and year-end bonuses based on company performance.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
