What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Manager position at Central Valley Search Partners?
The position has a heavy emphasis in operations for multiple production facilities. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices. Must have experience working in food or beverage manufacturing.*
This position requires someone to be fluently BILINGUAL in both English and Spanish and must be able to speak, read, and write in both languages.
Responsibilities
- Working effectively at all levels of organization from senior leadership to seasonal FLC employees.
- Experience with FLC and employees in compliance with CA laws and regulations.
- Building rapport and a trusting relationship with employees.
- Designing and administering employee development programs.
- Providing appropriate coaching and training for individuals and groups.
- Conducting leadership training to enhance managers’ skills.
- Overseeing employee annual performance review process.
- Mediating conflicts to reach a resolution – creating appropriate documentation.
- Facilitating employee disciplinary actions and dismissal procedures.
- Conducting internal investigations as necessary
- Creating and/or administering recruiting, interviewing, and hiring processes of new employees.
- Conferring with operating departments to determine accurate job specifications for posting open/new positions externally and internally.
- Administering employee benefit programs.
- Facilitating group meetings to explain and answer questions.
- Understanding and applying federal and California employment laws.
- Informing employees of current and new statutes.
- Creating and/or updating employee handbook
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
- 7-10 years' experience in Human Resources
- Must be FLUENTLY BILINGUAL: Spanish/English
- Must have experience in the agriculture industry (food or beverage manufacturing)
- Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
- Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
- Attention to detail and good judgement
